We Are Home!

We got home on Thursday and everyone is doing great! I guess it's like giving birth, after you have them you forget all about the pain you just went through. Now we just have to adjust to having 7 kids under 9 years old in the house.

Let the new adventure begin!!!

  1. Congratulations!!! So happy for y'all! Thank you for sharing your journey!

  2. So happy for you :) Can hardly wait to see some pictures!! (Sydney's future mommy) http://becauseyouareloved.blogspot.com/

  3. Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing the updates on your precious additions.

  4. Welcome Home! My name is Rachel Whitmire and I'm the Post-Adoption Care Coordinator for Reece's Rainbow. I wanted to leave you a note and let you know I'm available if you guys need anything. Sometimes adjustments can be hard and it helps to have someone who's "been there" to talk to. Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can help in any way. Also, make sure you connect to the After the Rainbow yahoo group. There are so many great families on there and it's a great source for support and advice. Shoot me an email if you don't know how to access it.

  5. Hello Erika, This is David G. Hallowell, an American Christian missionary busy in child rescue in Ukraine for many years, 19 years pretty much full time in Crimea, Ukraine. I just talked on the phone with another old Crimean Missionary, David Miles (with a long white beard)who said he met you at Kiev Borispol as he was leaving. He told me that you told him Pres. Yanokovich shut down all adoptions on November first. I had some questions about what exactly that means and he could not answer. Please get back to me with what you know.

i.e. does it or does it not include special needs children?

    Blessings in Christ,
    David Gerry Hallowell
