I know when I tell friends we are fully committed, they must think one of two things.1) We should be committed (to a mental institution, that is) or, 2) Boy, that Rogers family really loves children.
Well, it definately is #2 (although I feel like #1 on somedays). Sometimes I think I really have a lot of work ahead of me, but most of the time I feel so blessed with my kids (and the ones to come) that I just can't wipe the smile off my face.
What an awesome adventure ahead.....
I am SO excited about the F'burg families that are adopting kids from RR! We have been home with Liza now for almost 6 months and live very close to the Burg (spend a lot of time there). Maybe we'll all get to meet at a DSFred get together someday. Will be following along! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for being committed - or committable - whichever, who cares! kids are coming HOME! You guys are awesome and I can't wait to follow along!
ReplyDeleteMelissa and Gretchen, thank you so much for following along. I know I'm in for a wild ride!
ReplyDeleteHi. I'm a fellow RR mom. We brought home, Andreas from Estonia in 2010. I am looking forward to following your journey.
ReplyDeleteChristine looks so much like my Abbie in the RR picture. I was SO over-hours to see she had a family!! (Little jealous i couldn't adopt her.) So thrilled for your family. Both she and Oscar are adorable!
ReplyDeleteOverjoyed nit over-hours LOL!
ReplyDeleteElissa,
ReplyDeleteI was wondering what that meant, LOL.
